The exhibition Imprints in Stone<\/em><\/strong> presents stone sculptures by artists Jo\u017eica and Rudi \u0160kof from Novo mesto. It showcases their creativity, skill, and the expressive power of stone.<\/p>\n

The exhibited works invite reflection on the passage of time, the significance of nature and humanity\u2019s role within it, as well as the interweaving of past, present, and future.<\/p>\n

Jo\u017eica \u0160kof (b. 1948) is an artist actively engaged in a wide range of cultural activities, with a particular focus on visual arts. She has explored various techniques, from painting to sculpture, ultimately finding her true expression in stone. She is a member of the Skulpta Art Society in Novo mesto, where she also lives.<\/p>\n

Rudi \u0160kof (b. 1943) is a self-taught sculptor. He works with different materials, often combining them, though stone remains closest to him for its natural and expressive strength. He has participated in numerous workshops and art colonies and has held several group and solo exhibitions. He is also a member of the Skulpta Art Society in Novo mesto, where he resides.<\/p>\n

Throughout their artistic journey, Jo\u017eica and Rudi \u0160kof have been accompanied by poet Smiljan Trobi\u0161 and art historian Jo\u017eef Matijevi\u010d from Novo mesto.<\/p>\n

At the Gallery of Na\u00efve Artists Trebnje, we began organizing smaller thematic exhibitions in autumn 2025. The space allows for greater flexibility and the presentation of selected themes, holidays, and guest artists:<\/p>\n
