In the exhibition project On the Other Side, Natalia Berezina presents works that transport the viewer into her distinctive artistic world, imbued with personal experiences, a search for identity, and the creation of a new home.
For her work Home Is Where the Heart Is, she received the Grand Prize at the 57th International Meeting of Naïve Artists Trebnje in 2024. Her works intertwine lyrical and
dreamlike imagery, narrative elements, and rich symbolism. The artist combines painting and illustration to create imaginary worlds where human figures, animals, birds,
floating fish, and other fantastical motifs come together.
The exhibition opening will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Trebnje Gallery of Self-Taught Artists. The exhibition will be opened by Tomaž Ramovš, Mayor of the Municipality of Šentrupert. You are cordially invited!
