Self-Taught Artists Among Us: Local Masters of the Temenica and Mirna Valleys February 27 – May 18, 2025

The exhibition Locals Present Themselves showcases nine artists who were either born in Trebnje or the Temenica-Mirna Valley or have spent part of their lives and artistic careers in these areas. They are all connected through the Trebnje Gallery of Self-Taught Artists, which preserves their works created at the International Camps of Self-Taught Artists and other occasions. Some of the exhibited works were donated to the gallery at different times.

This exhibition aims to present the lives and works of these nine local self-taught artists and, through their example, inspire individuals who harbor a passion for creativity to embark on their own journey of self-fulfillment and artistic expression.
