Samaneh Atef presents her solo exhibition as the winner of the 52nd International Meeting of Self-taught Artists in Trebnje. Only a few artworks from her extensive, ever-growing opus are on display. The artist sent a selection with which she is putting forth a particular, certainly carefully chosen narrative which reminds us that her work is dispersed among many discourses touching upon the conscious and the subconscious, personal and social, feminism and patriarchy. Through creating, her form of speech, Samaneh Atef actively fights for self-realisation and freedom of all (women’s) oppressed voices.
