Artwork of the month January – Connectiong visual and literary arts

Every month, between the 15th and the 15th, we present a new artwork of the month in our gallery!

January’s Art of the Month is the work of painter Darja Lobnikar Lovak.

We invite everyone who is in any way moved by the selected work of art to write a short text or a poem about it. You can also see the painting in the gallery, where we have prepared a space for you to write, or you can bring or send us your text to galerija@ciktrebnje.si by 15 February 2025.

The title of the image has not been published intentionally, as it might unintentionally influence the experience of the atmosphere and the content of the work itself. We leave the possibilities open for your own interpretation.

We look forward to seeing your impressions, which, in addition to your personal collection, will also enrich the collection of the Trebnje Gallery of Self-Taught Artists.

The most original literary works will be awarded and published.
